Removing Rivets

I have security bars on my windows. They are fastened to the block with a unique fastener that looks like a wedge anchor, but kinda works like a rivet. Basically, a pre-drilled hole with a sleeve inserted and then a round pin driven through. My question is how can I easily remove these...there is no "head" available to withdraw the rivet...these are security bars after all. Additionally, there is no space to get a sawzall in and cut them. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Todd is an unknown quantity at this point
I removed mine with a small hacksaw. It took lots of cutting and then I pulled the anchores out with pliers. This might not be the easiest or fastest fix but it worked for me. Good luck
