water droplets on the roof nails in attic

We have lived here for 13 years and decided to build an addition to our house. In another topic I talked about the "cobra ridge vent".

We have never seen water droplets on the end of the roof nails in the attic and were wondering if anyone has experienced this phenomonen with this particular ridge vent the general contractor placed on the new addition and then replaced the old with the new.

We had the aluminium ridge vent for 10 years or so and never saw water in any form; I don't know if the cold had anything to do with it but it is odd to us.

mrcaptainbob is an unknown quantity at this point
Can't imagine water droplets in an attic as being good. Sounds like a condensation issue. If there's a temperature difference, there'll be condensation. Cold toilet tank in hot weather kind of thing. So the nails are cold from the outside. Attic must be warmer than they are. Not good. Where might the condensate be coming from? That is, why would there be moisture in the attic? Possibly a bathroom exhaust vent? That could explain not only the mositure, but the heat there, as well. All households should vent directly to the outside. I would verify that.
