Scary Crack at The Ceiling

Hello there,

I wonder if this crack is familiar to some of you and I wish to know:
- does it cause any risk in long term
- what can be done about it
please share your experience please.

looks like a rather new dwelling. it seems like the structure is just settling and some moving in the wind.

That beam looks like a load bearing beam, needless to say any crack that size running directly under a load is a problem. The door directly to the right in your picture, when you close the door is the space around the door even all the way , does the door bind/jam ?
