wood flooring on porch buckling

I have a customer with a wood t&g porch buckled because the rain puddled on it. It was recently installed. I started to tell 'em I couldn't fix it, but I got an idea: put a small 110v AC window unit on the outside of the porch so it blows on both the bottom and top, and then enclose the top and possibly the bottom in plastic and tape it all together so the porch is essentially in a 'bag' and tape it to the evaporator side of the AC. Tape the top side with masking tape, put some towels over it to absorb any condensation, and weight it down with bricks. Has anyone ever tried this? This is in central FL.
