There are a lot of choices; metal, wood, rubber, etc. Your favorite home improvement store (Menards, Lowes, etc) all have a variety of transitions. I purchased stained oak thresholds at Menards and they came with pre-drilled holes and the appropriate screws. Thresholds are usually located near where the carpeting and flooring are sold.
