tounge&groove plywood

I have a question about laying 3/4 tongue&groove plywood. I know when laying regular plywood you would leave a 1/8 between boards for expansion. Would you do the same with tongue&groove plywood or would you butt them up tight? It would seem silly to gap t&g boards but you would think they would expand and contract also. I'm a little confused.

Individual sheets move independently of each other - hence clips to fasten together. Tongue and groove function as one unit when made up properly.
