Vinyl floor bubbles

Lowes installed vinyl floor in my kitchen about 4 months ago. The floor is bubbling real bad. The vinyl is adhered to the sub floor with tape. The installer claims this bubbling cannot be avoided. He said it is due the heat making the floor expand and contract. I do not believe him. If this was the case, I find it hard to believe that vinyl would have died out years ago. They also installed vinyl the same way in 2 other rooms (bathroom and den) and we do not have this bubble problem. Is this just az bad install job, or is there soemthing valid to their explanation?

Steve

I agree with tile guy...I have used the product you had installed and had no problems ....bear in mind that it is not as good an instlallation as using adhesive.....and perhaps by moving heavy objects (ovens) (fridges) back and forth over it (alot ) it could have occured
