I'm trying to restore a 35 yr old slate floor that is my foyer.
It appears that the sealer (probably some urethane type stuff) was put over a dirty floor.
I've tried two different acid based cleaners, and have only been able to remove part of the urethane, and now have a haze in other areas also.
