Expansion room?

I'm putting down ceramic tile in my entry-way. It's only about a 3' x 8' area with the rest of the floor, in that room, a floating laminate wood.

How much room for expansion does each type of flooring need?

Thanks,

rockyjp is on a distinguished road
For ceramic tile, the gap between wall and tile should be around 4mm. Laminate flooring is of a floating type. For laminate flooring, the gap shoul be between 8mm and 10mm accordingly.
