Furniture dents in carpet

Good afternoon,
I know they will go away on their own eventually, but is there a way to get the carpet fibers standing up again after having heavy furniture legs standing on them?
Thanks,
John & Sue

Use suction from a shop vac, dampen the area with a squirt bottle then vacuum.

we also used a garden type rake -- clean of course -- if the pile is thick.
It's a carpet cleaning trick when you lay the shag down from extraction.

If you put ice cubes on the indentations, they will disappear as the ice melts.
