Laying Carpet

We are thinking about replacing the carpet on our basement stairs. Should we get a professional or can the average weekend warrior do this?

You should probably get a professional to do your stairs. If it is your first time laying carpet you should first try something easier, like a bedroom. Stairs can be a headache.
