The light on my Overhead Door Python Chainglide garage door opener light went out. I changed the bulb, and nothing. Tried another new bulb and nothing. Any ideas? Thanks
The light bulb operates off a relay and timer board inside the opener.. If you have an internal diagram follow the current path to the bulb. The relay "may" just plug in otherwise it is soldered to the board. Check for a small glass fuse inside the opener. This may have opened.
Another thought would be the center terminal. They sometimes dont make contact.With the power off, you can take a screwdriver and slighty bend the contact out.Ive had this trouble before. Hope your trouble is this simple..But be sure to unplug the unit first.
