my entire back yard slopes toward toward my house and water stands several inches deep right out my back door when it rains. I want to add a screened in back porch but need to stop my problem first. any suggestions about what to do with my yard? thanks

You need to install some drain tile to route the water away from unwanted areas, here's a few links to give you examples

Before doing that I would maybe think about having your entire lawn regraded as this would be the best fix.
