Comfortmaker HVAC
I have a Comfortmaker HVAC system. For some reason I am not receiving cool (de-humidifying) air from my AC cycle. My home has two systems; the top floor and then the 1st floor and basement. My top floor system is working perfectly, but my downstairs system IS NOT.
I've double-checked all connection from the thermostat, I looked at the unit housing in the basement. If something is wrong, I wouldn't be able to tell. I also checked the outside fan and it operating fine. I think the line going to the house is cool.
Please help! I don't want to contact a contractor who will take advantage of my lack of knowledge.[/font=Comic Sans MS]

First, is how is the air there from the blower? All air filters clean should be change everu 30 to 90 days. Is the A coil there clean? Do you have good air comeing from the blower. Ice or any frost there on the copper lines mean your low on freon, Big line should be cold and wet little copper line warm or hot.
If little line is cold? You sure that the compressor is rrunning out side . you have a lot of things to look at here.
