Furnace

I have water leaking from my furnace when i turn on the air conditioning. I did notice i have a pump attached to the furnace which has a hose go from the furnace to this pump then out to a water line. There is no water in this pump however. Any ideas whould help.

Hube is an unknown quantity at this point
Hi, and welcome to the forum. What you probably have is a condensate pump that is supposed to remove any (condensation) water that the a/c coil will send it. There could be a build-up of crud, debris at the coils drain pan where it drains into this tube line and into the pump. Clean out the pan, tubing,etc, and this should solve the problem.Good luck Hube

You can try and just blow back in that hose from the coil to the pump. A shop vac work good for this. Also check and see if the air filter is clean.
