high humidity in garage

The garage suffers from very high stuffy humidity during the summer months. last year it went through a mold and mildew storm that blanketed everything in a blue/grey/grey layer of crap that looked like mold and mildew.

I f I opened a window should I blow air in or out or simply have a fan blowing to circulate the air...it is a 1 car garage.

I live in Guam, temp between 69F to 91F year around with very high humidity. This product is a life saver. I think that other similar products will work just as well but this is a very cheap way to rid your area of mold.(http://dampcheck.com/contain.htm) home page(www.dampcheck.com)

You dont say where you are . That helps some . But the fan inside could help also. I would say get a small dehumidifier for out there is your best bet.

You don't live too far from me. I did'nt have a mold problem, but I still mounted an exhaust fan in my garage crawlspace. As a bonus, the garage is somewhat more comfortable during sweltering days. In any case, moving dead air out is a good thing (wouldn't hurt).

Ventilate, Ventilate,Ventilate... (fresh air in, stale air out .Have the air going out opening near the floor level, and situate the incoming air opening near the ceiling level on an opposite wall.... IF that fails, which i doubt, then use a (heaven forbid) Dehumidifier. Hube
