If you intend to service it monthly a 1/2 cup of laundry bleach mixed in a gallon of water would do fine. If the line is obstructed you can use a plumbers wire snake to effectively unstop it. ( a 3/8 inch x 35ft wire snake is about $10 at your local hardware store. Insert it in the condensate line from the outside, push it in till you feel it stop, then pull it out briskly and you will see the water and sludge come out. To get a more effective sanitaizing, you can purchase some slow dissolve tablets at a HVAC supply house. Put a couple of the tablets in the pan each month when you change the filter. Ask for PAN TABS. They come in a quart jar for about $10. will be enough for a couple seasons and they dont go bad if you keep them sealed in the jar. They work in much the same way as the floating tablets of chlorine in swimming pools.
