Dryer vent condensation duct

I have a situation that has been some what discussed. This is a condo unit. It is the ground floor unit. The condo was actually 2 units but was remodeled into one big unit. The laundry room was moved when this remodeling took place. The old dryer vented about 12" behind the dryer...a very short run. It tied into an 8 story stack. The unit had sat for about 4 years and was recently purchased. The problem is, condensation building and dripping from the sheet metal duct. The run is as follows: It comes out of the dryer with a wire and vinyl duct that attaches to a sheet metal duct,it then goes in the wall and up about 7 feet, makes a 90 degree turn with sheet metal elbow, runs 5 feet along and in between the concrete floor above and the plastic panel drop ceiling, makes another 45 degree turn with elbow, then runs 4 feet across the hall, makes another 90 degree turn with elbow, and runs 4 feet and ties into the old stack at that point.
It is pretty much level, but drips water at the 2nd and third elbow.
Along this path it runs under and touches the round, flexible AC duct. The sheet metal dryer duct is not insulated. I'm wondering if PVC insulated would be better and maybe stop the dripping. There is no place to vent the dryer outside..it has to tie into the stack.
Any suggestions.
