Coleman Gas sometimes heats sometimes not?????

I own a coleman furnace Model-BGU07512, the problem im having is that when it tries to start aflame appears then goes out. It hen tries to reignite several times, sometimes it will stay on sometimes it wont. Can anyone give me any advice where to start. Also fan seems to be running constantly?????????? Thanks

i just had the same problem with my colman heater didnot have 24 volts at my controll module installed a new one and problem fixed.

Control module?????????? can you describe for me and where i woul measure voltage. I have also read a lot of posts and they mention a flame sensor is this a possibility?????????????

the flame rod or flame sensor can be cleaned up with 220 grit sandpaper. but read fordfixer's post.

you will have two wires from the gray box my box said robertshaw on it,to the gas valve. when the heater kicks on you should have 24volts at those wires.mine would come on then kick off replaceing the module fixed my problem.
