Unhappy Bryant Plus 80 inducer motor repair?

OK, I have a Bryant Plus 80 which has recently stopped igniting it's burner. I started playing around with the wires as an initial troubleshooting technique, which led to finding an intermittent problem.

It turns out that the wire in question is connected to the inducer motor. The inducer (blower) turns on to insure proper exhaust gas flow prior to the burner igniting. The wiring is connected to the inducer via spade lug connectors so I removed and replaced them to burnish the connectors’ surface to eliminate corrosion, however the problem persists. I then realized that the brushes are undoubtedly just inside the plastic housing which is why wiggling the connecting wires causes the inducer to start spinning thus allowing the burner to ignite.

Unfortunately this is only a temporary fix which requires additional wire manipulation to again make the connection required. So my first thought is worn brushes.

I'm assuming that it's not a brushless motor. I'll try and include a scan of the Label that fell off the motor.

I checked one parts supplier and they quoted $387.00 for the entire inducer assembly stating "blade cannot be purchased separately."
(What’s next, the price of $1387.00" with the addition of "blade and Installation technician cannot be sold separately?")
I just get so sick and tired of company's finding ways to stick their hands into the consumer’s pockets.

Anyway just wondering if any one has ever replaced and/or knows of a retailer that sells replacement brushes. I just really find it ridiculous to decrease our natural resources while increasing the size of our land fills, while at the same time allowing a big corporation to rape my pockets over a $5.00 pair of carbon brushes.

Anyone have any ideas, care to comment or help?

Thanks,

Joseph

Had a feeling you'd be the guy that helped me out. Thanks much!

Can't remember the site, but I kid you not on the price.

Thanks for the leads!
