A/C output temperature

What temperature should a central A/C system produce at the closest vent in the system? In my case, I'm seeing 48 to 52 deg F at a vent approx 20 feet from the evaporator in the furnace. Thats with outside temps at 90 to 100F. Does that sound normal?

sounds a little cold not to mention condensate in the ductwork. I would rather see 68 degrees at the furthest register.

Hube is an unknown quantity at this point
taking temp ONLY at the supply means nothing.
The ideal way to check is ;take temp at the return just before the filter. Take temp at supply just out of sight of the evap coil.
Eg; return= 75
Supply= 55
temp drop= 20, which is ideal

A dirty filter, too slow a fan speed,a dirty coil, etc ,can sometimes (not always)give a higher than 20 temp drop reading. If so, the coil could "ice-up."
