Old Rheem Unit

Last night after my blower fan died squealing painfully I took the motor out of the furnace duct and fought the bearing plates off and got it to spin again...i loaded the end cap with ballbearing grease and the other side got some grease too...
the unit runs for now but i suspect as these were oilite bearings that i only bought some time...i found the "OEM ORIGINAL REPLACEMENT" part for my model online at one place but they want $350. for it....how do i figure out what kind of generic motor i can buy for this 20 year old unit?

check the nameplate for frame type, rpm, lra, rotation direction from the shaft end [cw, ccw] measure the shaft diameter. with this information go to the grainger site. if you have the facilities, you can replace the oillite bearings. oillite is sintered bronze which makes them porous to accept oil for a lube. for these check out msc industrial or mcmaster-carr both industrial suppliers.
