Question Millivolt Gas Fireplace-No Pilot

I have a Majestic remote control gas insert fireplace with a Robertshaw Grayson millivolt gas control valve (711-811-415). We rarely use the fireplace and the pilot has gone out. I changed the batteries in both the remote and receiver unit, but unit did not light. Noticed no pilot light and cannot find any ignitor button or switch to light the pilot? Any ideas?

light the pilot with a match on a long extension [alligator clamp on a straightened coathanger] with a millivolt generator there must be a means of opening the pilot valve - a button - a push and hold button etc.
