cold air intake

I want to move my cold air intake from the front entrance to the basement apartment back entrance. Will this cause any problems?

it shouldn't make any difference. use any free joist space and nail up galvanized sheeting over the joist faces. then use a comparible rectangular duct to get the return to your furnace. any floor registers will do as a cold air return.

Air Conditioning Repair

It won't make any difference to your furnace but it will probably affect your comfort control
