Furnace Keeps Turning On and Off

Hey everyone. I'm new to this forum and I was wondering if someone could help me out. I have a forced air furnace and once it reaches the desired temp it keeps turning on and off every two minutes to maintain that temp.

I recently replaced the thermostat but I'm having the same problem. The fan turning on and off every 2 min is painful to listen to. Does anyone know what the problem is.

Thanks.

Hube is an unknown quantity at this point
Hi, Welcome to the forum. I assume the burner is (gas?) is kicking on and off every 2 mins. When the burner FIRST kicks on, how long does it take before the fan kicks in? In a normal cycle the burner will kick on, about 2 mins later the fan will come on and continue to run for a few mins after the burner has shut down. Also, when you replaced this Thermostat, did you adjust it to the proper fuel/ cycle time? Hube
