Exterior Brick House

A year ago I had to replace my front steps (10) and the contractor used a very light brick and the rest of the house is dark brick. Is there anything that can be done without tearing down the steps and starting again?
Any ideas would be appreciated
Thanks

Most of the time, you usually want the contrast of having your steps a differant color than the house. It helps people to know where the entrance is. They do sell paint and stain for your steps. But I would use a primer on them first. If you have an extra brick, take it with you and have it color matched to match the color of the house. You might try leaving the steps light and painting large flower pots the same color as the house brick, put an evergreen bush or plant in them and set them close to the steps to help coordinate everything. Once you paint, you will eventually have to repaint.
