Painting Estimate

House is 2200 square feet and needs inside painted. Not sure how much area there is to paint, not sure how to measure or estimate cost? I need a local painter to give me a free estimate?

easy

ok .. if you are just painting walls length times height then multiply by the number of walls. if you are doing the ceiling just do L times W

Paint covers approx. 400 sq ft per gallon

if you are painting ceiling and walls for 2000 sq/ ft house. need about 35gallons

hope that helps.

most paint websites will have a paint estimate calculator.

Re: Painting Estimate

projectground dot com is a new website where you can find local contractors including painters. You can post your project and contractors will bid so that you get an excellent price! You can compare several estimates and choose the best painter for your interior house painting.

If you wanna paint the inside part of your house then I suggest you to use better quality paint becoz it costs a bit more than the ordinary one but it stays for long period of time.
