Aged Aluminum siding?

I attached a piece of new aluminum siding to the front side of the wood bar on my patio. Its all bright and shiny but I want it to look aged, as if its been around the hacienda for years. Any suggestions?

Thank you. jh

regular ol aluminum siding? bare metal? you can try vinegar on it. this will dull the finish. muriatic acid may do the trick. you got to find something that will oxidize the surface. aluminum naturally ages forming an oxide that protects it.
