moans & sewer back-up

so what should be done to fix the sewage line back-up (if that is what could be causing the loud moans). we have a well and a septic system.

I wish I had a idea to help you,I'm not a plumber by trade but cross over into that field frequently,I've never dealt with the system your asking about sorry[:I]

handyandy is an unknown quantity at this point
How often do you have your septic tank serviced? If it has been a while, I would start there. Sometimes roots, etc grow into the lines and clog them. Generally clogged lines can contribute to these kinds of noises.

Anyone else?
