New Shower Installation

What should the height of the shower handles and shower head be?

There are no hard and fast rules in the plumbing codes. The shower mixer is commonly set at 48" above finished floor and the shower arm at 72", however, this is a good time to consider the height of the people who will be using it. Normally if the shower arm is set about 3 to 6 inches higher than the tallest user it is more practicle.
