Well PH adjustment

Our house currently has a water softner. We are on Septic and I hate the soft water anyway. I would like to get rid of the unit but it also adjusts the PH of the ground water. We run a little acidic and without the water softner, the copper is stripped from the pipes. Do you know of a unit that will just adjust PH?

thanks

LazyPup has a spectacular aura about
Soft water is water of neutral PH. Hard water is water that has absorbed minerals that changes the PH either up (acidic) or down (alkali) on the PH scale, therefore the only way to adjust the PH is by means of the water softener system.
