Get some blocks of styrofoam slightly taller (about 1/4" taller) than the space from the underside of the tub to the floor and wedge them in. They should compress into place. Many new tubs come with styrofoam blocks for support.

You could probably get some scrap styrofoam packing materials from an appliance or electronics store to make the blocks.
