Moen 3 knob tub faucet repair?

I have been searching high and low for a divertor stem for these to replace the current one, but for the life of me no one carries them. My question is are other brands interchangable with moen for this part?

I am not familiar with any other MFG parts that will interchange with Moen.

Rather than replacing the divererter have you considered reconditioning the one you have. Normally it is not difficult to do.

Moen is a well respected name in the Plumbing trade and normally nearly all commercial plumbing supply houses will have a full line of parts or can get them almost overnite.

You might try their Website dealer locator to find a dealer near you.

www.Moen.com

or you could contact them direct for a parts catalog or customer support.

Ya considered that to, but still can't find the parts. I guess Moen's are just that good.

The diverter stem leaks out the spout when shower is on water is quite exspensive here so it kinda defeats the purpose of a low flow shower head.

Have you actually pulled the diverter stem to examine it? Moat of them have a conventional Bibb Washer on the end.
