kathy is an unknown quantity at this point
flushing problem

when i flush the toilet I have to hold the handle down for at least 7 seconds to get it to flush properly. Is there something I can adjust?

take off the toilet tank lid,check to see if theres any slack in the chain/rubber strap connecting the toilet handle to the stopper. if there is remove as much as you can with out letting the water out of the tank. it should help.TAZ
