Brass to Copper

Hello,
Is it ok to join a 6" brass nipple to copper piping? This is for the tub spout. Thank you.

Not only is the brass compatible with the copper, a 6" brass nipple may be used as a dielectric fitting to connect copper to iron pipe or an iron vessel.
