Anti-siphon vacuum breakers

I am looking the Watts anti-siphon vacumm breakers model 188A and the 288ac.

The 188 is for irrigation applications and the 288 is for hot and cold water.

Does it make any difference as far as code goes ? The water is strickly for irrigation, as you all know from previous post , in ad naseum
