Question Help. Install a drain clean out tips

Just had water backing up into the showers and toilets overflow when flushed. Can anyone walk me through installing a drain clean out.Got a plumber coming to rooter tomorrow and he will dig up the pipe and cut a hole to rooter and im just gonna install a drain cleanout myself to save money.

depends where he's gonna clean it out. if its in the vertical stack, then you can cut in a t-y with an adapter and threaded plug. if its in a slab then do the same thing with a t-y, just your clean out plug will be at an angle

If its an outside cleanout I would install one like the left side of this drawing.
