Cavity under a small patio

I have a cavity underneath a small patio (4x6 +/-).

Has anyone ever used Great Stuff, or the like, to fill this type of void?

If that won't work, what's the best fix (short of calling a mud jacker)?

Thanks!

Mike

My first concern would be to find out what caused the cavity. It could be sink hole resulting from a broken pipe below grade.

Newer construction...many sink holes around yard...no pipes though. I think it is still settling (sinking) dirt. I'm afraid now, with the void, that it will continue to get bigger because of rain water.
I appreciate the thought though...any ideas on the best way to fix it?
