Flooring Options

We are building a new home and are planning on doing the dining room in natural cherry on the walls. The dining room is open from our great room which will have a dark brown laminate flooring. That color isn't working well with the natural cherry. I can't find a flooring that works well colorwise. Does anyone have any suggestions as I need something that will work with the flooring in the great room and the kitchen which will be a beige tile.
