I'm redesigning my kitchen and I want to have a solid surface countertop with integrated sink. The local kitchen contractors want to charge $2000+
I'd like to save money by either building it myself or getting it used.
Habitat for Humanity have a series of Re Use stores that allow contractors to drop off their scraps or reusable building materials from job sites. This is a great resource, but solid surface countertops don't come in too often.
Does anyone know of any similar organization or resource that one can go to get a reused countertops?
I'm willing to alter my cabinet design to accommodate what's available.
Ideal Specs:
25" x 85"
Double or single basin sink on far right edge
Light color (cream, white, etc)
Corian, quartx composite, etc..
Cheers,
Mike.
