GE Polyflux Bulb Stuck in Harness

Hi,

I need to replace a GE F38W2D/835 Polyflux fluorescent bulb in my kitchen and the maintenance guy I talked to said just to pull it down, but it feels like it might break. Is there a trick to getting these bulbs out, like a release of some kind?

Any help is very much appreciated.
