Issue with door closing

Hi folks, we recently replaced an old craftsman with a chamberlain. The opener works however when we close the door, it automatically opens itself. We have adjusted the up/down force and spent more then 2 hours on it. The other issue is with the rail. When we open the door, it bows upwards about 5 inches!! What is the problem there?

The door not closing is due to the safety beam not being aligned properly. These MUST be installed, there is no way around it.

If the rail is arching, you could have a broken spring or improperly balanced door. Open the door manually, it should be effortless to move.
