    have just started noticing cracks in drywalled cieling all the way around and at every seam?is this foundation shift or lack of moister and shreanking

    could be any number of things. humidity in the room. too much heat affording shrinkage, lack of a filler strip, poor composition of the mud.

      Drywall cracks

      Check to see that in fact all the corner seams have been taped. If they have not been taped, but merely mudded over and filled, you will need to tape the corner seams. You can go right over the top using an inside corner procedure shown at Taping & Fininshing Drywall Inside Corners

        A quick answer

        Sounds like a poor job of Hanging drywall. It sounds like incorrectly mixed or possible old Joint Compound was used.

        However, I ran into a job once where a similar thing happened because people were walking upstairs in a finished attic that wasn't originally designed for human traffic and the ceiling in the living room was flexing.

          Like the others have said, could be anything. My guess is also a bad sheetrock job. Lack of proper taping and/or fasteners. You'd be surprised at how many newbies get jobs as sheetrockers!
