  • Gaskets for Kerosun Monitor 30

    Hi,

I need to replace the gasket between the heat exchanger and burner pot on a Kerosun Monitor 30. Is anyone still selling these, or do I need to make my own? If I make my own, what is a good source for gasket material?

    gaskets

there's a selection on eBay. And you check out my first post on heater materials - from McMaster-Carr industrial supply.

I used Rutland 641 when I needed to seal the combustion fan back up on my 30. Its good to like 800 degrees and stays flexible. The burner only gets to 550-600 degrees.

Thanks for the suggestion. I got lucky and was able to get a reasonably priced replacement gasket, but parts for this heater seem to be getting hard to find.
