  • Ceiling fan light mount replacement

    It looks like my parents may have been using higher wattage bulbs than the fixture is rated for, causing enough heat to crack the fixture over time? Either way, but this looks like it needs to be replaced, it seems like a fire hazard. Is this something I would be able to fix for them fairly easily?

    Be far quicker to change out the entire fixture and doing so is fairly easy as well. Make sure the switch is off (and or breaker).

      Eagle or Leviton will have a replacement if you want to take apart the fixture.

      this site: mylampparts dot com has a direct replacement
