My 220 pool filter appears to just be humming.
When I disconnect the plug 1/2 the electric goes out in the house.
It appears that somewhere I've lost 110 volts.
The 220 breakers has 1 GFI reset switch.
Is it possible to loose 1/2 the 220 power and the plug is acting as a 110 bridge to the other part of the house?
Shutting off the breaker from the pool GFI or the pool breaker in the main breaker box still has 1/2 the house shut down.
Where do I begin?
Is this a common problem?
