  • Condenser Motor & Run Capacitor HELP!

My York AC condenser motor is shot and have found a replacement motor (orginal AO Smith F48E06A48 and replacement AO Smith FSE1026SV) I replaced the run capacitor first (440/370 Round 3 prongs) however the new motor is calling for a different run capacitor (5 uf 370 Volt Oval Run Capacitor 2 prongs). My question is do I need to purchase a different capacitor or can use the new (old one).

    Hope this makes sense.

The voltage isn't critical, but the uf is and if it has three prongs, it's probably a dual MF cap. Without a capacitance meter, you wouldn't know what two of the three prongs to use.
