can we program 2 different devices with chamberlain garage opener

I have a chamberlain garage opener with smart button and I already install a wireless key pad for it. recently, I just bought a bmw 328i and hope to program it to open the garage without using the remote that came with the opener.
Would someone let me know if this is possible, it the answer is yes, please let me know how! because, I know when I program my wireless key with it I have to clear the memory and push the smart button to do it. and I also know I have to do the samething if I program my 328i also. I think I will overwrite one to the other.
