  • Replacing aluminum windows

I am thinking of replacing my old aluminum crank handle windows with vinyl dual pane windows. My question is whether this adds enough value to my home to make it financially worth doing? Are there other options I think about?

Yes without any doubt besides the value added to the existing property value (100% return) you have the "saleability factor" to add in PLUS the heating and cooling savings, your existing windows offer ONLY wind and rain protection to the home they offer VERY little in relation to saving money on the heating and cooling costs throughout the year.
You will notice it much quieter as well as an added side bonus.
Little about a lot and a lot about a little.
Every day is a learning day.
