  • Incomplete dishwasher cyce....

It's a Maytag model DWB1000AWE, serial 10392485CE. The 'main wash' door is opened after all cycles are finished, except the soap from that pocket is left spilled on the door, as if there was no water after that door opened. Or thata the door opened after all the wash cycles wee complete. How can I verify what's going on?

as if there was no water after that door opened
Either there is insufficient water in the machine before the soap dispenser fully opens or water is not being sprayed properly after it opens.

The former could be caused by an intermittent water fill valve or the control not powering the valve when it should. The latter could be caused by the motor not operating which could be because of a problem with the motor itself or the control not powering the motor.

To confirm if sufficient water is in the machine, you might be able to open the door at the appropriate time and see how much water is in the tub. The water level after a fill should usually be to just below the heater element.

If the dishwasher's installation has been changed recently, an incorrectly installed drain hose could cause siphoning of the water from the tub.

Thanks, Dan O. I'll look at the water levels.
